Established in 1995, Charlie’s has grown from a much-loved local shop selling home-baked cookies to an innovative producer of seriously delicious gourmet treats – both for the food service industry and for consumers to take home and enjoy.

In 2004 husband-and-wife team Ken Mahlab and Jacky Magid left behind the corporate rat race to concentrate on their new found love, Charlie’s Cookies. With the best bite chocolate chip cookies (as voted by Tattler Magazine) on their side, they set about rebuilding the company.

Charlie’s couldn’t have grown to become one of Australia’s finest cookie companies without the support of its wonderful, chef, hotel, conference centre, caterer, corporate office, club, cafe, shop and airline customers and thanks to our supportive customers Charlie’s can now be enjoyed in various outlets Australia wide.

Its been challenging at times; Charlie’s is often referred to as Ken and Jacky’s third child, but Charlies has been and continues to be a deliciously wonderful journey for them and their two young cookie connoisseurs. Moreover, Jacky and Ken are in their element in a dynamic and innovative small to medium size business.

We’re committed to making sure our cookies are the freshest and tastiest every time, so we use only premium ingredients from ingredient suppliers who care about food as much as we do. Everything at Charlie’s is made from scratch recipes. We are BRC certified and proud to be a 100% Australian made and owned food company.

Each year we donate at least $50,000 worth of cookies to community groups, fundraising events and other Australian and indigenous initiatives looking for support and exposure.
